I’ve seen lot of these posts recently and although they’re full of many great ideas, is a list of 100 things really realistic?
You may or may not know that I suffer with Crohn’s disease. I won’t bore you with the details but it does mean that I can’t always do as many things as I’d like and planning is just a no go. I pretty much wing life day-to-day. Anywho…..
I thought to myself apart from the usual summery stuff what kind of things would I like to get up to this year? and why not share it with you guys.
1, First up is Sunflower field. It’s not often you get to see a massive field of sunflowers. It looks for the dreamiest of backdrops while on a summer evening drive.
2, Watch a movie in an outdoor cinema. These are becoming so popular and I quite like the idea of chilling outside on a warm sunny evening and for some reason it reminds me of the Flintstones (haha)
3, I love exploring so I done some digging to find some amaze place that are right on my doorstop that I never even knew existed. Hopefully I’ll get to visit some this summer.
4, Have a picnic in a park with the family. When I was little almost every other weekend we climbed to the top of the mountain with a bag full of munch and just enjoyed the scenery. No I-phone in sight.
5, Visit Barafundle Bay Beach. I’ve seen lots of amazing photos of this place. It’s a small isolated beach in West Wales. It honestly looks like somewhere aboard, it has white sand and clear blue water with views to die for.
6, Visit a Zoo. I’ll be honest I’m not usually one for the Zoo but my other half absolutely loves them. So, I decided this year I’d let him pick which Zoo and we’d make a day of it.
I’ll more than likely get up to the usual summer stuff like beaches, ice-cream, shopping and bbq’s but the list above are things I wouldn’t normally get to do and I’m quite looking forward to doing them. ill keep you posted on Instagram.
do you have any big plans this summer? maybe a wedding or a big birthday bash? let me know in the comments.
