I recently cleaned out my make-up collection and came across this little gem that I had totally forgotten about. I bought this around 2 years ago but after finding it in my collection I have recently gone out and repurchased it.
When this first came out I was just browsing in my local drug-store, the neon green colour jumped out at me and made me want to get a closer look. It was totally different to what Max Factor mascaras are usually like, Max Factor usually have a more classic looking design so I’m guessing the colour was designed to attract the younger market. Whatever their marketing strategy was, it worked on me and I purchased this for just £6.99 from BootsUK
I have to admit I wasn’t sure what to expect with price being so low but I couldn’t wait to try it. It was great to see the consistency wassn’t too thin and it doesn’t smudge or flake throughout the day which is amazing!
The wand has natural bristles that dip in the middle to give an hourglass shape, This is to allow the brush to hold more product. I’m not crazy about the shape because I think it makes application a little more time consuming than other wands but with a little bit of effort you can get a fuller looking lash with a nice natural curl.
Despite the wand not being my preferred shape, the none flake, none smudge, good consistency and low price makes this Max Factor Mega Volume mascara one of my fav mascara’s.
Have you tried this mascara? what’s your thoughts?
